The DCEU (or whatever it is we’re supposed to call it) has never really managed to get a grip on what it wants to do. Does it want to be it’s own thing? Does it want to be like Marvel? Does it want it’s films to make sense? Justice League manages to confuse these questions even further.

People don’t make films to win awards.
Or at least I don’t.
Yet, that doesn’t mean it isn’t very nice when awards come along. It’s a collective of people telling you that you did a good job and that’s really cool. I’ve won a couple of tiny, barely significant things in my short life as a filmmaker, but even they made me feel ‘accomplished’.
The original Star Wars Battlefront games will hold a special place in the hearts of most people in their 20’s. So when it was announced we’d be getting more, fans were expecting something pretty spectacular.
I mainly write about writing. Hopefully one day I’ll be writing about filming, but that’s for another day.
The reason I dedicate a lot of my time to my difficult to reach dreams is because opportunity rarely presents itself within the media industry. You can work and work and speak to countless ‘important’ people and you’ll still be left with little more than another low down job role on your CV. Don’t get me wrong, that’s great but after a while you start to wonder why these little things don’t add up to something bigger, more substantial and something long term. I fight to get my little films made because I’m not going to sit around while I struggle to even get a job making cups of tea.
In this episode we take on two enemies at once and no, we haven’t jumped a head to the Prince’s of Lothric, it’s just taking on some of the Watchdogs of Farron
